Climbing the Mallos de Riglos

SPAIN | It’s good to listen to local recommendations. Two basques (thanks Antton & Igor) told us that this place is a must seen as a climber. So we went here and were mind blown. The rock looks like the Grand Canyon in color and is very bizarre from up close. It’s a mixture of different rocks and it actually looks man-made. The very special thing are the vultures around you, they fly with so much elegance and they are so close.

We did an easy multipitch mix ‘La caída de los dioses’ and ‘Espolón del Adamello’ (V+,6a,6a,IV+,IV and then again three pitches (IV,IV,V+) to the top of Mallo Pisón.

Where: Riglos, Spain

What: Rockclimbing on a very special rock formation, there are so many multipitches
